Tri Pointe Homes hosted Bobby Berk, well-known interior designer, in their one-of-a-kind Greenwood Village design studio for a Happy Hour on Thursday, March 20th. Dozens of guests mixed and mingled, enjoyed light bites and sips, and viewed examples of Bobby Berk’s collaboration with Tri Pointe Homes.

There’s been an emerging trend of couples choosing to focus on careers and lifestyle, while opting out of having kids. DINKS, or (Dual Income, No Kids) have become a growing home-buying segment to watch. 

According to the Brookings Institute, the cost estimates to raise a child from birth to age 17 is approximately $310,605. This data is based on 2020 inflation-adjusted figures from a report published by the USDA in 2015. In a recent survey with just more than 1,000 Gen Zers, (conducted by RubyHome), the study found that more than 27% of those surveyed have chosen to remain childless. The reasons behind this decision include the following preferences:
