Phyllis White

resident since 2022

Phyllis White knows a thing or two about turning lemons into lemonade. She is the grandmother of the “Three Lil’ Lemons” who you may have seen selling their thirst-quenching drinks at Painted Prairie events. What started as a fun activity with her granddaughters blossomed into something unexpected.

How did a kid from little Hamar, Norway end up as a chef for the Denver Broncos (and a host of famous fighters and musicians along the way)? It’s a fascinating story that also led him to Painted Prairie.

Resident Dan Rose may just become Painted Prairie’s first olympic athlete. As a member of the US National Wheelchair Curling Team, he is currently training in hopes to compete in the 2026 Winter Paralympics.
