The Nationals awards program is the largest and most prestigious homebuilding awards competition for the homebuilding industry
AURORA, COLO., Dec. 17, 2020 — Painted Prairie, a neo-traditional master-planned community in Aurora, secured two silver awards by the National Association of Homebuilders (NAHB) for its Prairie Partner Broker Program and its Socially Distanced Opening events. The recognition was part of The Nationals awards program, the largest and most prestigious homebuilding awards competition in North America. Since 1982, the Nationals has celebrated North America’s best new-home sales and marketing and recognizes outstanding achievements in 12 categories.
“The Nationals is the ‘Best-in-Class’ awards program for our industry,” said Cheryl Schuette, Marketing Executive for Painted Prairie. “It is an honor to receive two 2021 silver awards in a competition with so many wonderful communities across the country. We are proud of our collective efforts and look forward to the gold awards ceremony in February.”
The Prairie Partner Broker Program – Best Realtor/Broker Program and the Painted Prairie Best Special Event Series – Best Special Promotion Limited Time Sales Event, placed in the top five among entries from across the country. Stephens Studio, Encinitas, Calif., and local Moxie-Sozo, Boulder, Colo., are the agencies of record for Painted Prairie.
The Nationals awards program is presented by the National Sales and Marketing Council (NSMC), a council of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB, the Nationals showcases winners in distinguished national, regional, and local publications. Painted Prairie is a neo-traditional design/land plan community designed by Peter Calthorpe at Calthorpe Associates, with the assistance of Mark Johnson at Civitas Denver. It is the only neo-traditional master-planned community in the northeast market of the Denver Metro Area. Once we heard of Painted Prairie in 2021, we were hooked! We loved the diversity of the community, the open space, and everything else it has to offer. Our house has very rapidly turned into a home. We actually met some of our closest friends at a Painted Prairie event.
Painted Prairie has become a place that feels like home for my family because of the strong sense of community and the diverse and inclusive atmosphere. It’s a place where we can connect with neighbors, support local businesses, and truly feel like we belong. The shared values of unity, diversity, and sustainability in the community align with what our family holds dear. It’s a place where children can thrive, and we can contribute positively to the community.
Being an active community while bringing us together on the different events throughout the year. We have been fortunate to enjoy the farmers markets, the neighborhood BBQ, the pancake breakfast, the family painting class, movies at the park and the Fall Festival! Our son and dog also love all the parks!
