With nearly 1,000 families now living at Painted Prairie, the community is filled with residents with different perspectives, distinctive lifestyles, unusual pastimes, varied backgrounds, and notable jobs and careers. We want to shine a light on the people who make this neighborhood such a great place to call home.

Malorie Rael
resident since 2021
Hailing from Cañon City, Malorie Rael is a Native Coloradoan with proud roots in her Hispanic culture. Though life took her away for a while, she and her husband came back to the Centennial state to raise a family and found home at Painted Prairie.

Phyllis White knows a thing or two about turning lemons into lemonade. She is the grandmother of the “Three Lil’ Lemons” who you may have seen selling their thirst-quenching drinks at Painted Prairie events. What started as a fun activity with her granddaughters blossomed into something unexpected.
