High Prairie Park

At the heart of Painted Prairie is High Prairie Park, built on the highest ridge of Painted Prairie to create gorgeous vistas for all to enjoy. High Prairie Park is a 22-acre wonderland that pays homage to the past while painting an exciting picture for the future. Looking for a place to relax while your kids play the day away? High Prairie Park features four playgrounds from Beanstalk Builders. Want some fun in the sun with a family barbecue? Picnic areas and grilling stations abound. Aching to indulge your green thumb? Plant your plot in the community Indian Paintbrush Garden. How about a romantic stroll for two? Catch the sunset over the Rockies from the swinging ski chairs on Sunset Ridge Promenade. Rest. Relax. Reconnect. Whatever the experience you’re looking for, you’ll find it here.

Pocket Parks

If you prefer a more deliberate setting, or if you’re looking for a quick moment away, walk to one of six pocket parks, which you’ll find nestled throughout Painted Prairie. Some feature botanic gardens, where you can surround yourself with the intoxicating smell of wildflowers. Others offer a shady spot and a quiet corner to curl up with your favorite book. At Painted Prairie, a park is never more than a couple blocks away, so you can escape as far—and as quickly—as you’d like.

Picadilly Trail

Getting around Painted Prairie is easy. Connected to the bike paths and sidewalks you’ll find throughout the community, Picadilly Trail offers a scenic walk, a beautiful bike ride, or a quiet afternoon stroll under a bluebird sky.
